Purpose and Objectives

Summit Jeffco is a half-day conference that will create an opportunity for families and the community to learn about Jeffco's strategic priorities while meeting, learning, and building community.  

The objectives of the summit include:

• Building a culture of trust and belonging through positive collaboration between families, school leaders and staff, and members of the community
• Engaging community members in Jeffco’s strategic plan and the District’s ongoing academic and operational initiatives which comprise of 3 tracks offered during the summit:
• Track 1: Understanding of important district operational functions with an emphasis on food and nutrition services, finance/budgeting, and information technology; 
• Track 2: Learning how to set your child up for success in and beyond high school -- navigating the high school experience and working toward postsecondary pathways; 
• Track 3: Strengthening student engagement - cultivating your child's love for learning (focus on math and literacy), health, safety, and well-being
